IPL 2021: RCB will celebrate the captaincy of Virat Kohli

विराट कोहली का बड़ा खुलासा, RCB मैनेजमेंट के चलते प्रेशर में थे, 2019 में छोड़ने वाले थे कप्तानी

Both Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are good friends.

Fast bowler Harshal Patel has said that Virat Kohli’s journey as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore may have ended without any IPL title. But the franchise will celebrate his contribution towards the team for years. Harshal, however, did not specify how the team plans to celebrate Kohli’s contribution. The pacer insisted that Kohli, who decided to step down from the captaincy of the Indian T20 team after the upcoming T20 World Cup and RCB after the IPL, would be the leader. Harshal said after RCB’s defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator on Monday, “From a captain’s point of view, some people are captains and some are leaders, he is definitely a leader.” He does not have the captaincy tag, it does not mean that he is less than a leader. So I want to thank him for all the contributions he made to the team and my progress.

He also said that the team will ‘celebrate’ Kohli’s contribution as captain. Harshal said, ‘Yes, I think we will definitely celebrate his contribution and it would have been nice if we celebrated with the trophy in hand but it did not happen. But as I said, his contribution is huge and we will definitely celebrate it. Harshal said that the entire team is disappointed with the way the IPL season ended. “Of course, we are all disappointed with the way the tournament ended. The way we were playing, I think we should have been in the top two. But as we all know, even a small difference matters a lot here.

Harshal Patel equals Bravo in taking wickets

Sunil Narine flashed his ‘old mystery’ ball and then smashed three sixes to break Kohli’s dream of winning the IPL title as captain of RCB, playing a key role in Kolkata Knight Riders’ four-wicket victory. Harshal was the most successful bowler in the current season of IPL with 32 wickets in 15 matches. His best performance was five wickets for 27 runs. He equaled Dwayne Bravo’s record for most wickets in an IPL season.

Harshal, who took a hat-trick for the first time in his competitive career in the UAE leg of the IPL, said he was happy with his performance. He said, ‘I am extremely happy with what I have been able to achieve and am happy to contribute to the team’s victory.’ Harshal said that Kohli has always supported him and he always supports his bowlers.
