Kedar Jadhav has not been seen in form for a long time.
This player has not been given a place in the last-11 by Sunrisers Hyderabad against Rajasthan Royals, due to which the player’s bat has remained calm for a long time.
IPL made the careers of many people and spoiled the careers of many people. When a player is out of form or tries to make a comeback in Team India, then IPL is his target. He knows that if he does well in the IPL, the doors of the national team can be opened again, but if he fails here, a comeback becomes almost impossible. Kedar Jadhav was also one of those players who were looking for ways to return to Team India through the IPL, but after failing here, it seems that his career may be over. This is being said because Jadhav was dropped from the Sunrisers Hyderabad team against Rajasthan Royals on Monday.
Kedar Jadhav could not make it to the last-11 due to poor form in the match being played for Rajasthan and Sunrisers at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This is the third match of Sunrisers in the second phase of IPL 2021. Jadhav was in the team in the previous two matches but he scored three runs against Delhi Capitals and 12 against Punjab Kings. The result was that he was dropped against Rajasthan. In both these matches, he had got opportunities where he could become a hero for the team by scoring runs but he failed with the bat.
Out of team for a year and a half
There was a time when Jadhav was considered a strong batsman in the middle order of Team India. He made his ODI debut for India in 2014 against Sri Lanka and made his T20 debut against Zimbabwe in 2015. Jadhav played many good innings for India. He was also seen as the new finisher of Team India for Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but once his form fell, he could not return. He played his last ODI for India on 8 February 2020 against New Zealand in Auckland. At the same time, he played the last T20 match for India against Australia in Guwahati on 10 October. After leaving Team India, his attempt was to make a good comeback in the IPL, in which he seems to be failing. In IPL 2020, his slow batting was heavily criticized, due to which CSK released him this year. In IPL 2020, Jadhav played eight matches for Chennai and scored just 62 runs at a strike rate of 93.93. During this his average was 20.66. Only seven fours came off his bat while he could not hit a single six.
youth are challenging
Looking at Jadhav’s current form, his return to Team India seems impossible. Another reason for this is that the young batsmen are performing well. Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer have proved that they can handle the middle and play match-winning innings. Many more youngsters are making a splash in Team India, in such a situation, the challenge of return in front of Jadhav is like a mountain.
