U19 Triangular Series (2021-22): Bangladesh U-19 team won the Triangular Series by defeating India B U-19 team in a one-sided fashion.
Indian team piled up on just 53 runs, Bangladesh did not allow 9 batsmen to cross the double figure!
Bangladesh has captured the ongoing Under-19 triangular series in Kolkata. In the final match played at Eden Gardens, Bangladesh defeated India B-U-19 team by a huge margin of 181 runs. Batting first, Bangladesh Under 19 team scored 234 runs. In reply, the Indian team was bundled out for just 53 runs. The team’s 9 batsmen could not even touch the double figure and the entire team could last only 21.3 overs.
Naimur Rahman Nayan was instrumental in the victory of Bangladesh Under 19 team. He took 4 wickets for 16 runs in 6.3 overs. Apart from them, Mehab Hasan and Mohammad Zaman took 2-2 wickets. In the batsman, H Mollah scored 93 and Mohammad Zaman scored 50 runs.
Indian batting piles up like cards
After bundled out Bangladesh for just 234 runs, the India B Under 19 team was expected to achieve this target easily but it did not happen. The top 4 batsmen of India B could only score 9 runs. Mohammad Faiz-2, Shaun Rogers could only score 2 runs. Wicketkeeper Aradhya Yadav could not even open the account. Ansh Gosai got out after scoring 5 runs. Uday Saharan and Kaushal Tambe tried to settle on the wicket but this partnership also broke. Captain Anishwar Gautam was also dismissed after scoring just 2 runs. The last 5 batsmen of India could add only 5 runs. India lost the last 5 wickets for just 3 runs and the team was bundled out for just 53 runs.
