37-year-old Kothari’s father Manoj Kothari has also been a world champion. He won the World Championship title in 1990. Sourav Kothari won the title of World Champion in 2018 by defeating Peter Gilchrist. But the next year he could not save his title. In the final, Gilchrist defeated him and put the crown on his head.
After winning the final of Lance Panell Pacific International Snooker, Kothari said that this victory is very special for him. In fact, Kothari was battling poor form for a long time.
