A series of three T20 and three ODIs is to be played between India and Sri Lanka, which is going to start from Thursday but till now no broadcaster has been found for the series.
Indian women’s cricket team has achieved a lot in the last few years. The players made a place in the hearts of the fans on the basis of their game. Gradually the fan following of this team has also increased a lot. That’s why BCCI (BCCI) also announced to conduct women’s IPL. Although it will be said to be the double attitude of BCCI that while they are planning to organize the women’s IPL, on the other hand they are planning to organize the women’s team’s tour of Sri Lanka. (India vs Sri Lanka) Even broadcasters are not able to find it. For the board which earns crores from IPL, it is proving difficult to find a broadcaster for bilateral series.
India tour will start from June 23
The T20 series between India and Sri Lanka women’s cricket team will start from June 23. The second and third matches of the series will be played on June 25 and 27. After this the ODI series will start. The first match of the ODI series will be played at Pallekal on July 1. After this, the second ODI match will be played on July 4 and the third ODI will be played on July 7.
BCCI and SLC are unable to get broadcasters
Two days later, India will start the tour of Sri Lanka but till now this series has not got the broadcaster. Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley DeSilva said, “We are yet to decide on the broadcaster. We will try to stream it on YouTube. The matches of the Sri Lankan tour of the men’s team are shown on the Sony network, although Sony has released the schedule of its full week’s program, but this series between India and Sri Lanka has not found a place in the schedule.

Indian team is about to make a new beginning
This series is very important for women’s Indian cricket as a new era is beginning with this series. After the retirement of Mithali Raj, Team India will go to play ODI series for the first time. Harmanpreet Kaur will take charge of the ODI team for the first time as a regular captain. The Indian women’s cricket team will play their first match in the ODI series in the cycle of the ICC Women’s Championship. Harmanpreet Kaur, the new captain of the team, said during the virtual press conference about her new responsibility, ‘I feel that now some things have become easier for me because when there were two captains, some things were not easy because both of us had Ideas were different.
