A 5-match T20 series is to be played between India and South Africa (IND vs SA). For this series, India has rested many key players, but South Africa has fielded a strong team.
IND vs SA T20I Series: After the thrill of the Indian Premier League for two months, the Indian cricket team is now ready for international cricket. The first challenge before Team India is that of South Africa, which has reached India with a very strong team. South Africa’s batting is strong, but the real challenge for Team India is its sharp bowling, which has excellent variety and these four bowlers can prove to be a big disaster for Team India. If Team India has to win this five-match series, then it will have to face this bowling attack full of variations.
IND vs SA: Team India beware, these four are ready
- Kagiso Rabada: Rabada is one of the best fast bowlers of this generation. He has been equally effective in all three formats. Especially in IPL 2022, he was successful in controlling runs as well as wickets. He took 23 wickets in IPL. He has played 40 matches so far, in which he has taken 49 wickets. He has played only 4 T20Is against India in which he has taken 4 wickets.
- Tabrez Shamsi: At the same time, every batsman will have to avoid world number one T20 bowler Tabrez Shamsi. This left-arm spinner has proved to be a disaster for the batsmen around the world in the last few months. Even though he could not play in the IPL, but his international spirit remains intact. He has 57 wickets in 47 T20Is, but the special thing is the ability to rein in runs. He gives runs only at an average of 6.74. Earlier this year, the Indian batsmen also had trouble against him in the ODI series.
- Keshav Maharaj: There is another spinner like Shamsi, who is finding his feet in this format. Left arm spinner Keshav Maharaj. The very experienced spinner of the African team made his T20 debut only last year and so far has taken only 6 wickets in 8 matches, but he is very stingy in terms of runs. Against him, even at the rate of 6 runs have not been scored. At an average of just 5.82, he has given chances to the batsmen to score runs and that too had created trouble for India in the ODI series.
- Enrique Norkhia: The fourth name in this list is Enrique Norkhia. The fastest bowler in the African team can swing the ball with his speed and can also make good use of bouncers. Underestimating Norkhia, who has been struggling due to fitness in recent times, can prove to be wrong. He proved to be very expensive in IPL 2022, but his performance in the African jersey is on a different level. He has got 18 wickets in 16 matches, and has an economy rate of just 6.75.
