Team India showed strength on the first day of Kanpur Test

The first day of the Kanpur Test was named after Team India. Jadeja-Shreyas Iyer made a century partnership

Team India seemed to be in trouble after losing 4 wickets and the Kiwi team was preparing to dominate but Jadeja and Iyer saved the team by batting amazingly. Shreyas Iyer and Jadeja batted freely and did not spare the weak balls. Both shared a partnership of 50 runs in 97 balls and Team India reached 200 in the 68th over. After this, Gill scored a half-century in 94 balls in his debut Test itself. After the completion of 80 overs, New Zealand took the new ball but its bowlers could not shake the Jadeja-Iyer pair. Both shared a century partnership in 192 balls and after that Jadeja scored his 17th Test half-century.
