Mumbai. The first match of the 3 ODI series will be played between India and Australia on Friday. The World Cup is also to be played this year and this series is very important for India in terms of preparations for the World Cup. In the first match, the Indian team will take the field under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, not Rohit Sharma. Actually, Rohit will not be able to play the first ODI due to family reasons and Pandya will take over the responsibility in his absence.
In such a situation, it will be interesting to see who will be Shubman Gill’s partner in the first match. Gill will also be under everyone’s eye in this series as he is finding his footing as an opener. Continuously playing strong innings. Looking at the World Cup, this series is going to prove important for them as well.
