The ICC has released the ranking of women’s ODI cricket on Tuesday, in which there is not much good news for India. In the ranking of batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders, India has not gained much but has suffered losses. However, players from Australia and England will be happy to see this ranking. (ICC Photo)
India’s star opener Smriti Mandhana has retained the eighth position in the batsmen’s list in the new ODI rankings. The 25-year-old Mandhana, who scored 411 runs in nine ODIs this year, is the only Indian in the top 10 of the batting rankings. Mandhana also scored a century against West Indies in the World Cup. Australia’s Alyssa Healy is at the top of the batting rankings, followed by Natalie Sciver of England. (BCCI Photo)
India’s veteran fast bowler Jhulan Goswami has lost a place in the bowlers’ list. Jhulan has taken 12 wickets in nine ODIs so far this year. (BCCI Photo)
Jhulan was overtaken by South African pacer Ayabonga Khaka, who performed brilliantly during her team’s clean sweep against Ireland. England’s Sophie Ecclestone and South Africa’s Jane Jonassen have retained the first and second positions in the bowlers’ list, respectively. (ICC Photo)
India’s Deepti Sharma remains at the seventh position in the all-rounders’ list. There is no other Indian player in this list. England’s Natalie Sciver is at number one. (AFP Photo)
