The Indian women’s team, captained by Shefali Verma, has won the ICC Under-19 World Cup title. The Indian team won the title by defeating England by seven wickets in the final match played on Sunday. The biggest star of this title win was the team’s opener Shweta Sehrawat. Shweta scored 297 runs in a total of seven matches in this tournament at an average of 99. During this, three half-centuries came out of his bat. His highest score was 92 not out, which he made in the first match against South Africa.
In bowling, the star leg-spinner of the team was Parshvi Chopra. This spinner took 11 wickets in six matches. Against Sri Lanka, he took four wickets in his name by taking five wickets.
