The NCP chief further said, ‘Then the players told me – we have to visit Karachi. We left. Stopped for breakfast at one place. When he reached the counter to pay the money, the hotel owner said that he would not take the money. He said that you are our guest.

Sharad Pawar said that he used to go to Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka because of cricket. He found that the people of Pakistan and Bangladesh are also eager to come to India. Some of his relatives live here. There is no hatred for India in the hearts of common people. There is hatred and estrangement among people associated with politics. There is enough love and respect for each other among the general public.
