Harbhajan Singh saw stars during the day when the Pakistani batsman was beaten, said – it felt like it was a 40-ball over

Harbhajan Singh is one of the most successful spinners in India.

Whenever there is a competition between India and Pakistan in the World Cup, then something historical definitely happens. Whether it was the rivalry of Venkatesh Prasad and Amir Sohail in the 1996 World Cup or Sachin Tendulkar’s six over the point in 2003 or India’s ball-out win in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Whenever these two neighboring countries play with each other, the level of the game goes to a different level. A similar incident happened in the final of the 2007 T20 World Cup. Here Misbah-ul-Haq overturned the match by hitting three sixes in the over of Harbhajan Singh. Now Bhajji has talked about this. He said in a TV channel program that he had come under pressure after hitting three sixes.

Harbhajan Singh said in Aaj Tak program that the margin of victory and defeat in T20 cricket is very less. During this, when the pressure comes, then the man has to take care of himself. Recalling the anecdote of the 2007 T20 World Cup final, he said that when Misbah hit three sixes in his over, he felt that the over had become 40 balls. Harbhajan said, ‘When Misbah-ul-Haq hit me for three sixes in the 2007 World Cup, I just wanted to complete my over. It felt like I was bowling a 40-ball over because I was under a lot of pressure.

Harbhajan advised to stay relaxed

Harbhajan refused to bowl the last over after going for three sixes in his over. In such a situation, the then Team India captain MS Dhoni got the last over done by Joginder Sharma. India won the final by five runs and won the title.

Bhajji added,

What I think is that when you are under pressure, you rely on yourself. Yes, the captain can say that be relaxed, you can bowl like this, you can put it like this, but in the end you have to do the work. And if you stay under more pressure then you are not able to do this.

Harbhajan, one of India’s most successful spinners, said that in difficult times a player should remain calm with himself because after all it is only a match. He said, you have to tell yourself to relax. It’s a match and enjoy. Take your time in difficult times. This will help.
