The new season of Pakistan Super League is starting from 13 February. But, some cricketers of Afghanistan cannot be seen playing in it. This will not happen for the whole season. But, the initial week-one and a half week is going to be like this in PSL. This is because at the same time the players of Afghanistan will be on international duty. Actually, Afghanistan has to tour UAE in mid-February and due to this, Afghan players will not be seen playing in PSL.
However, before the tour of UAE, there has been a big change in the Afghanistan cricket team. This change is in the captaincy of the team, where Rashid Khan has returned once again. This will be Rashid’s second term as the captain of the Afghanistan cricket team. He has taken over the reins of the team after the resignation of Mohammad Nabi. In his first term, his captaincy record was 4-3, which he would like to improve further this time.

Rashid Khan became captain before UAE tour
Rashid Khan has been given the reins of Afghanistan before the UAE tour to be held in February. This tour will be for a series of 3 T20 matches. For this, Afghanistan has currently released a list of 22 potential players under the leadership of Rashid Khan. Out of these 22 players, 17 players will get a chance to board the flight to UAE.
