BBL 2022-23: Melbourne Stars beat Hobart Hurricanes by 38 runs, Clarke hit a stormy century.

In Australia’s T20 tournament Big Bash League, England batsman Joe Clarke hit a tremendous century while batting stormy. The right-handed batsman scored an unbeaten 101 against Hobart Hurricanes to give Melbourne Stars a huge 38-run win. Joe Clarke hit 4 sixes and 9 fours in his century innings. On the basis of his innings, Melbourne Stars scored 183 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
In response, the team of Hobart Hurricanes could only score 145 runs in 20 overs. No Hobart batsman could play a big innings. Captain Matthew Wade did score 35 runs but his strike rate remained 100. Ben McDermo 17, Darcy Short got out after scoring 15 runs. Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan was dismissed after scoring just 7 runs. Tim David scored 24 runs. Hobart’s team lost despite having such excellent players in the playing XI.
Clark showed fear
Melbourne Stars made a decent start while batting first. Joe Clarke along with Thomas Rodgers added 46 runs in 4 overs of Powerplay. The team’s score crossed 50 in 4.3 overs. Melbourne Stars scored 82 runs in the first 10 overs. During this, Joe Clark scored 50 runs in 35 balls.

Stoinis out on 0 for the second consecutive ball
On the one hand, where Clarke was batting well, on the other hand, the other batsmen of Melbourne Stars were performing disappointingly. Marcus Stoinis could not open the account for the second consecutive match. Cartwright and Nick Larkin’s bat also did not work. However, Clarke scored 100 runs in 65 balls to take the team to a big score of 183 runs. This score proved to be big for Hobart Hurricanes and the team lost the match by a big margin of 38 runs.
