Portugal’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo scored another hat-trick to give his team an easy victory in the 2022 World Cup Football Qualifiers (2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers). In the match played at Farrow, it was Ronaldo who scored a total of 58th career hat-trick for the club and his country. With this, Ronaldo’s record for the number of international goals has reached 115. Portugal defeated Luxembourg 5-0 in this match due to his charismatic performance. This is Ronaldo’s 10th hat-trick from Portugal, playing his 182nd international match. Ronaldo scored on penalties in the eighth and 13th minutes and completed a hat-trick in the 87th minute.
Bruno Fernandes and Joao Palinha scored the other two goals for Portugal. Despite this win, Portugal are points behind Serbia in Group A but have played one match less. In another match, Serbia defeated Azerbaijan 3-1. The top ranked team from each group will qualify directly for the World Cup while the second placed team will play in the playoffs. Germany qualified first in Europe
This is Denmark’s eighth successive win to ensure its top spot in Group F. Germany was the first country to qualify from Europe. Denmark has taken an unassailable seven-point lead over second-ranked team Scotland. Scotland won 1–0 on the Faroe Islands to strengthen their claim for second place. They are four points ahead of third-placed team Israel, who beat Moldova 2-1.
