However, on Monday, a 16-year-old young player from a small country like Ireland broke the Indian legend’s world record. The world record which is in the name of Mithali Raj from 1999 till now i.e. for almost 22 years.
Mithali Raj got a chance to debut in the year 1999. Mithali started her ODI cricket career. He played his first ODI match against Ireland in Milton Keynes. Mithali Raj scored an unbeaten 114 runs in her first ODI match. At that time his age was 16 years, 205 days. Mithali was the youngest female player to score an international century at that time. This record has been in the name of Mithali Raj for 22 years. However, on Monday, the record was registered in someone else’s name.
