Abhimanyu Mishra has achieved this feat by defeating Indian Grandmaster Leon Mendonca in the Grandmaster Tournament held in Budapest. To become a Grandmaster, 100 ELO points and 3 GM norms are required. Abhimanyu knew this very well. Abhimanyu achieved his first GM norm in April. The second GM norm was achieved in May. And, now he has also become a Grandmaster by achieving the third GM norm.
