The capital of the country, Delhi (DelhiIn ) Kejriwal government is committed to make the roads better and user friendly. In this direction, on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister and PWD Minister Manish Sisodia (Manish Sisodia) along with the high officials of PWD did a surprise inspection of the road from ITO to Tilak Bridge. During this, he reprimanded the officials concerned for not taking care of the maintenance of roads, foot over bridges, road marking etc. Along with this, instructions were given to remove all the shortcomings immediately. He warned the officers to do their work responsibly. Along with this, while giving instructions to the officials, he said that a plan related to making the roads more user-friendly and beautifying them should be prepared within a week.
The PWD minister inspected the smallest details present there. In this, he found that the marking on the road is either missing or their placement is not good. Also, after patchwork in some places, road marking has not been done there. Where he found a defect in the 1 lift of the Skywalk near Tilak Bridge, lack of cleanliness of the footover bridge. Taking all this, he warned the officers. Apart from this, while giving instructions to the officers, he said that any kind of lax attitude in the maintenance of these arrangements will not be tolerated. He said that not only in the ITO but in any part of Delhi such negligence was taken in the maintenance of the roads. In such a situation, strict action will be taken against the people concerned there.
No laxity in the maintenance of roads will be tolerated

Orders given to prepare road marking design and hand it over within a week
The Deputy Chief Minister has directed the officials to remove all the lapses on the road stretch. Along with this, keeping in mind the standard, orders were given to prepare road marking design and prepare a plan related to maintenance and hand it over within a week. It is worth noting that in this regard, in the coming days, a meeting of all JE level officers responsible for the maintenance of the roads of Delhi can be convened, in which they will be given necessary instructions related to the maintenance of roads.
