Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has claimed that till December this year, Delhi to Chandigarh in 2:30 hours, Dehradun in 2 hours, Haridwar in 2 hours, Jaipur in 2 hours, Amritsar in 4 hours, Katra in 6 hours and Delhi to Srinagar in 8 hours. Can go in hours.
In What India Thinks Today, the global summit of NewsNCR network, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari once again resolved to make the country a Vishwaguru and for this he talked about working day and night. He told how Delhi and other parts of the country will get rid of air pollution in the coming years. While answering the questions of NewsNCR, he told that what kind of boom is being planned in the automobile industry and how it will reduce unemployment.
Question – What is such a magic formula that Gadkari ji has, the work goes on, the payment is also done on time and the contractor is also paid on time, how?
answer – The credit for this does not go to me only, it is amazing team spirit, engineers, contractors work day and night all night and I stand behind them, the credit goes to all those people.
Question – Haldhar trees have been planted on the road built from Amravati to Akola, roadside ponds have been made for rainwater harvesting, what is India doing on infrastructure in terms of innovation?
answer- Where this road has been built, there is a water problem, I wanted soil for the road, that’s why I told the then CM of Maharashtra Devendra ji that I will make ponds, where a lake has to be made and I did that, on the roadside Build 36 ponds and use its soil in the road. Due to these ponds, 10,000 acres of land was irrigated, 22 thousand wells were recharged and the water problem of 68 villages was solved. This experiment was successful without spending a single penny. I have also given it to NITI Aayog. Deposit the water in the ground, there will never be a problem of water.
Question- The youth are protesting about Agneepath, how do you see it?
answer- I am building roads worth 60 thousand crores in Delhi NCR, my mission is to eliminate water, air and noise pollution in Delhi, for this there will be water from jam. By December this year, you will be able to go from Delhi to Chandigarh in 2:30 hours, Dehradun in 2 hours, Haridwar in 2 hours, Jaipur in 2 hours, Amritsar in 4 hours, Katra in 6 hours and Delhi to Srinagar in 8 hours. Out of these, 80% work will be completed. Now talk of planning, it is very good, it should be understood, it will not take away anyone’s employment, do not go into misunderstanding, it will benefit the youth and the country.
Question- The youth are worried that what will happen after four years?
answer- No one’s job is to be known in this, I think the youth should first understand the scheme completely, if they want to oppose it, it is okay, but this scheme is going to increase employment and welfare of the youth.
Question – Be it CAA-NRC, law for farmers or Agneepath scheme, why do people not understand these schemes?
answer – There is democracy in India, there is ruling party and opposition and the opposition has to oppose the plans of the government. We want to do welfare of village, poor, labourer, our government has done so much work for the poor in 7 years, which was not done in last fifty-sixty years. Our government makes policies keeping in mind all the people of the society.
Question- Nowadays technology intensive things have become more. PM’s dream is of 5 trillion economy by 2024-25, will we be able to achieve this target?
answer – There are as many problems as there are people, obstacles keep coming, but many people turn problems into opportunities. When I was a student, I used to lose elections, my friend gave me a book, in which beautiful sentence was written, ‘No one ends by losing in war, the one who leaves war ends’, life is full of problems Winning over them is vivacity, we will win from all the problems and show India as a world guru. We will find alternatives to what we are importing and exporting, increasing employment, 21st century will belong to India.
Question- What is the plan to eliminate pollution?
answer- Petrol and diesel accounted for 40% of Delhi’s air pollution, now we are bringing electric vehicles, when I used to say this earlier, people used to ask many questions, but now there is a waiting list for electric vehicles. Second, ethanol is being prepared on a large scale. Now after two to three months you buy Flex engine vehicles, which will run on ethanol. Its price is only 60 rupees a liter. Within a year, the cost of electric engine and flex engine vehicle will be equal to the price of petrol vehicle. Similarly, efforts are also being made for water, noise pollution.
Question- There is ‘political pollution’ in Delhi, are there some leaders of your party who give such statements?
answer- I live in pure air, neither do I go into polluted politics nor talk about it. I focus on my work, don’t see who is doing what.
Question- Does such a situation not affect your party, government?
answer – This has been going on for a long time, a poet had said that this country was not improved by discourses and kirtans and not spoiled by spectacles.
Question – Rahul Gandhi says that the opposition is being targeted, what will you say on this?
answer- I don’t even think about others, don’t even watch and don’t even do it, my house is between Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh ji, the road from my house leads directly to the Congress office, so there are people coming to my house, they don’t come Pate, because the road is closed, this is the only thing I belong to, not the rest.
Question- Shiv Sena was your oldest partner, today it is the biggest opponent, have the doors closed for it forever?
answer- Nowadays I do not go to Maharashtra, that’s why I do not know about the politics there.
Question- If someone gives information about parking a wrong car, he will get a reward of Rs 500, will it not send a wrong message?
answer- I have a complaint with the people of Delhi, they are rich people who build big houses and park their cars on the road, this is not right, if someone takes a photo of what they are using the road for parking, then 1 thousand rupees from it. The fine should be taken and half of this money should be given to the person taking the photo, for this the government is being talked about.
Q: You tried for a water route, do you think work is still going on?
answer- Water route is the biggest need of the country, it takes Rs.6 to go by train, Rs.10 to go by road, but if you go by water-way, it takes only Re.1. I have built a waterway from Varanasi to Haldia, 1350 km, later connected it to Prayagraj, my imagination was to build a waterway in Yamuna from Sonipat to Prayagraj via Delhi, Agra, Etawah. I had imagined another would fly from Delhi by sea plane, land behind Taj Mahal in Agra in 15 minutes, all the projects were ready, just had to submit to the World Bank. I had given six thousand crore rupees for polluting Yamuna in Delhi under Namami Gange scheme. I don’t have the department now, so I don’t know what happened.
Question- After Corona, unemployment is a big challenge before us, how will we control it?
answer- If 500 ethanol projects are opened in rural areas of UP and Bihar, people will get employment. Apart from this, we are also making roads to promote tourism, if it increases then people will get employment.
Question- Don’t you think that now there is a need for Urban MNREGA?
answer- I don’t think I am the Transport Minister, right now our total automobile industry is six and a half lakh crores, it gives the highest GST to the country and gives employment to four and a half crore people, in the coming years I am going to make it 15 lakh crores. . There are many companies here which are exporting from here to abroad. We will be an exporter of energy, not an importer.
Question- Road accident in India is a matter of great concern, what are we doing about it?
answer- This is a subject on which I have not been able to work out a solution, I have no hesitation while admitting it, the Government of Tamil Nadu with the support of the World Bank has reduced 50 percent of the accidents. We are making efforts, people also have to be aware and also have to think about medical health service. Our endeavor is to bring down at least 50% of accidents.
Question- What is Gadkari ji’s political ambition?
answer- I don’t have any ambition, I have never defeated anyone nor printed my resume, I say in my parliamentary constituency also you chose me, I tried to serve you, if you want, change me, I am 90% I do social work, 10% do politics. I want to do something for the country by securing my home and family. I have allotted works worth Rs 50 lakh crore, but I can say this with my chest that no contractor had to come to my house for the contract. We will work day and night and make India a world guru.
