Demanded to conduct corporation elections in deployment of central force

Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Shubhendu Adhikari said, “A petition has been filed regarding the demand for central force in the elections and an appeal has been made to the Governor as well. The commission has to see that the candidates get security during the campaign. That is why it is necessary that the central force should be deployed. Let us inform that the State Election Commission has announced to conduct the Kolkata Municipal Corporation elections under the supervision of Kolkata Police. Shubhendu Adhikari said that the Governor is not satisfied with the report of the State Election Commission and has again sought a report from the State Election Commission. After that will consider it. In Bengal, Kolkata Police has turned into Dal Das, but BJP is not going to leave the ground.

Petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on the demand of deployment of central force
