Electoral strategist Prashant Kishor said he does not want any role in the party but only wants that once a blueprint for the future is prepared, it should be implemented.

For the last few days, there were reports of election strategist Prashant Kishor joining the Congress, but now Kishor himself has now ruled out its possibility. Days after announcing the rejection of Congress’s “moderate offer” to join the party, election strategist Prashant Kishor says the party is capable of revival on its own and does not need it.

In an exclusive interview with website India Today, Prashant Kishor said, “The Congress leadership and I have agreed on many things regarding the future plan of the party, but they can do it on their own, they have many big leaders. They don’t need me. He offered and I said no.” He said that he does not want any role in the party but only wants that once a blueprint for the future is prepared, it should be implemented.

Prashant Kishor said, “What I wanted to tell them, I did. For the first time since 2014, the party has discussed its future in such a structured manner, but I had some doubts about the Empowered Action Group, they wanted me to be a part of it, which would be in charge of implementing the changes.”

After talks between the Congress and Prashant Kishor failed earlier this week, it was revealed that election strategist PK wanted Priyanka Gandhi to be the party chief, but the party leadership did not agree. Responding to such rumours, Prashant Kishor said, “Neither Rahul Gandhi’s name nor Priyanka Gandhi’s name was there in the leadership formula given to the party. I can’t tell you what was proposed personally.”

At the same time, he also said that Rahul Gandhi is his friend. He said, “Who am I to decide the position of Rahul Gandhi?” Prashant Kishor said that the image of Rahul Gandhi, which was tarnished by the BJP’s attacks, can be recreated. There have been many changes in the image of PM Modi since 2002. Of course, it is possible.

Prashant Kishor also said that he did not take any money from the Congress for making future plans and giving suggestions. Speaking on the prospects of Congress against BJP in future, Prashant Kishor said, “It is a very deep-rooted party. It would be wrong to say that he has no chance, but he needs to make some changes.”

On the question of challenging PM Modi in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he said, “I don’t know who will challenge PM Narendra Modi in 2024. State elections cannot predict Lok Sabha elections.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Congress said on Wednesday that it is a vibrant organization and its windows and doors were open for suggestions, after election strategist Prashant Kishor refused to join the party. live.

Party spokesperson Pawan Khera also said that he himself can explain why Kishor refused to attend the Congress yagya. Prashant Kishor on Tuesday turned down the offer of the party leadership to join the Congress and said that leadership and collective will is more important than him to overcome the structural problems that have plagued the country’s oldest party. Ho. Party President Sonia Gandhi had offered Prashant Kishor to join the party by becoming a part of the Congress’s Privileged Working Group-2024.
