BJP refused in clear words

After which Nitish Kumar had talked about getting it done at the expense of the Bihar government and convening an all-party meeting for this.
Census will not be allowed without caste
Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav had announced that he would not allow any census without caste in Bihar. Tejashwi had tweeted, BJP is a very anti-social justice party. Our proposal to conduct caste census from Bihar Vidhan Sabha has been unanimously passed twice. But the BJP and the Union Minister of State for Home, Rai have refused to conduct the caste census in writing. Without this, no census will be allowed in Bihar. Tejashwi Yadav said that 52% of the people in the NITI Aayog report are poor. Caste census will give equal opportunity to all. Lalu Prasad has also been demanding this for years.
