In Ward-12 of Phanda district, 3 candidates for the post of Panchayat member took out the slip in the temple and decided which member would withdraw from the election. Lal Singh Gurjar’s name appeared in the slip taken out in the temple, after which the other two members withdrew their names.
Friday was the last day of the process of withdrawal of nominations in the Panchayat elections to be held in Madhya Pradesh (MP Panchayat Election 2022). In ward 12 of the noose district of the capital Bhopal, 3 candidates for the post of member have decided through a slip in the Hanuman temple that which member will withdraw from the election. Actually 3 nominations were submitted for the district member. The three candidates, Lal Singh Gurjar of Bavdia Kala, Narendra Meena of Jamuniya and Rakesh Meena of Dangrauli gathered at Hanuman Mandir in Basinya village. In the meeting held here, it was decided that the slip should be taken out to avoid election expenses and mutual quarrels.
The name of Lal Singh Gurjar has appeared in the slip taken out in the temple. After which the remaining two members Narendra Meena and Rakesh Meena withdrew their names. Let us inform that after Adampur Panchayat of Phanda district, the Sarpanch of Damkheda and Mankhai of Bairasia district and all the Panches have been elected unopposed. Women candidates have been declared unopposed for the post of Panch and Sarpanch of 17 wards of Damkheda.
11 candidates withdraw their nominations
In Bhopal, 91 nominations were filed for the Zilla Panchayat member. Out of which 11 candidates have withdrawn their nominations on Friday. At the same time, the nomination of one was already canceled by the collector. Due to this, now 79 candidates are left. Let us tell you that ward 6 and 10 are very special for the two big parties of the state, BJP and Congress. Here there is a fierce competition between the two parties. Both the parties have given full force here.
Panchayat elections will be held in three phases
With the withdrawal of nominations, the remaining candidates have also got election symbols. Panchayat elections are being held in three phases. The first phase of polling will be held on June 25, the second phase on July 1 and the third phase on July 8 from 7 am to 3 pm.
