Meanwhile, on the announcement of AIMIM to contest the elections, Madhya Pradesh Congress Media Department President KK Mishra said that the party led by Asududdin Owaisi is the B-team of BJP and the Muslims of the state are intelligent, they will not become a puppet in the hands of AIMIM.
It is noteworthy that the Panchayat elections in the state are to be held on a non-party basis, but the urban body elections are going to be held on a party basis. The election of the post of mayor is going to be done directly by the voters and the election of the president in the nagar panchayat and city council will be done through the elected councilors.
Municipal elections will be held in Madhya Pradesh in two phases
Let us inform that the civic elections in Madhya Pradesh will be held in two phases. Voting will be held on July 6 for the first phase and July 13 for the second phase. Voting will be held on 133 bodies in the first phase and 214 in the second phase. The results of the first phase of elections will be declared on July 17 and the results of the second phase will be declared on July 18. Elections will be held in a total of 347 bodies.
