The noise of campaigning will stop 72 hours before the polling in Kolkata on December 19. In this last time, there will be public meetings of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee.

According to the program released by Trinamool Congress, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s first public meeting is to be held on 15th. His public meeting will be held near Phoolbagan metro station, where all the Trinamool candidates from North Kolkata will be present. After this, on December 16, two public meetings of Mamta Banerjee will be held in South Kolkata where all the party candidates of the area will be present.

Mamta Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee will have separate meetings

The first public meeting of 16th is to be held at Bagha Jatin Maidan. All the candidates of Jadavpur and Tallyganj areas will be present here. After that, the second public meeting of Trinamool supremo will be held at Behala Chowrasta where all the party candidates of all the wards under Behala East and West Vidhan Sabha will be present. Similarly, when Mamata Banerjee’s public meeting will run on the 16th, then on the same day her nephew Abhishek Banerjee will take out a rally with the candidates of North Kolkata. Their rally will start from Poppy Bazar which will end at the Bank of Baroda turn in Baubazar. This rally is to be held from 2:00 pm. Apart from this, on the last day of campaigning, on Friday, 17 December, Abhishek Banerjee will rally about the candidates in South Kolkata. His rally will start from Jadavpur 8B bus stand which will go till Hazra More.

BJP has also put power in the election campaign

It is noteworthy that Dilip Ghosh, former president of BJP’s West Bengal unit, has also started public meetings in support of party candidates since Tuesday. BJP started a movement for farmers. A three-day dharna has started in Singur in support of the demands of the farmers. Today is the second day of the strike. Along with this, BJP is putting full force in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation election campaign. BJP is continuously raising the possibility of violence during the elections. In view of this, there was a demand for the deployment of central forces, but the State Election Commission has completely rejected it, although CCTVs will be installed in all the polling stations on the day of polling.
