Former BJP MP from Koderma Professor Ravindra Rai (BJP Former MP Ravindra Roy)’s car has been attacked. His car has been completely damaged in this attack. Ravindra Rai, who was in the vehicle at the time of the attack, has alleged that had he not escaped, his vehicle would have been set ablaze and his bodyguard killed. After the attack, Ravindra Rai reached the Chas Mufassil police station and made a written complaint (FIR) is registered. Ekta Vikas Manch in Jharkhand has been demanding for the inclusion of Bhojpuri and Magahi in the examinations for a long time. In August 2021, he had announced to file a PIL in the High Court regarding this demand. Then Ekta Vikas Manch named it the struggle to save the existence of Magahi and Bhojpuri.
According to media reports, this protest is taking place after the Jharkhand government’s decision to include Bhojpuri and Magahi languages in district-level appointments. Ravindra Rai was coming from Ranchi to Dhanbad in the midst of this demonstration. During this, he was attacked in Chas police station area. During this, his bodyguard was subjected to indecency, the driver was beaten up and the window of the vehicle was broken. Ravindra Rai somehow escaped and took shelter in Chas Mufassil police station.

Meanwhile, when he reached near the petrol pump before Damodar Bridge, his car was stopped. In Dhanbad Bokaro, the members of Jharkhandi Bhasha Sangharsh Samiti, who were protesting against the inclusion of Bhojpuri and Magahi in the list of regional languages, started speaking of supporting the linguistic issue and trying to take them to the human chain. Started.

After some local people persuaded the crowd, Ravindra somehow escaped and reached the police station and lodged a complaint.
