Gujarat Election: AAP may get 58 seats in Gujarat Assembly elections, claimed in internal survey

Ahmedabad: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed that its internal survey has revealed that it can win around 58 seats in the Gujarat Assembly elections 2022. AAP’s state in-charge Dr. Sandeep Pathak has reached Gujarat on Monday. He said that this survey was done in a scientific manner through the party’s own agency.

According to the survey, the party is likely to get votes from rural voters dissatisfied with the Congress and lower and middle class voters in urban areas. Dr. Pathak said, ‘According to our internal survey, today we will win 58 seats. People of rural Gujarat are voting for us. The lower and middle classes in urban areas want change and they will vote for us. Dr. Pathak is considered to be one of the people responsible for AAP’s massive victory in the recent elections in Punjab.

’55 seats for AAP in BJP government’s survey’
Pathak, a Rajya Sabha member from Punjab, said, “People of rural Gujarat are of the opinion that Congress cannot defeat BJP here. Congress voters of rural Gujarat are voting for us. This is the situation today. And I am hopeful that as time goes by (and elections are near) our numbers will increase. He further claimed that 55 seats are being given to AAP in a recent survey conducted by the state intelligence wing of the BJP government in the state.

Earlier, while addressing the press conference, AAP’s Gujarat unit president Gopal Italia said that he came to know about this intelligence survey report from sources, and BJP is amazed by his party’s predicted performance. Incidentally, AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had completed a two-day visit to Gujarat on Sunday. During this time he was involved in some programs including a road show.

‘BJP can be defeated only by AAP, not Congress’
Pathak, who became AAP’s state in-charge on Monday, said his party is fighting for the top spot here as people want a change from the BJP, which has been in power here for the last 27 years. Dr. Pathak claimed that people know that only AAP can defeat BJP and not Congress. The Congress is currently the main opposition party in the state’s 182-member assembly.
