BJP’s strategy in tribal areas

South Gujarat has the largest number of tribal areas. At the same time, out of 26 reserved seats, 17 seats come from this.

Congress has won 8 out of 17 seats here, while BJP has 7 seats. For the last one year, BJP has become more active in tribal areas. The government has opened Sainik Schools in the Valsad Navsari Dang and Bharuch tribal areas of Gujarat. The BJP is also expected to benefit from the strong hold of the RSS in this area.
