Congress in Karnataka (Congress) former leader CM Ibrahim JD(S) have joined. Ibrahim in the presence of senior leaders like HD Deve Gowda and HD Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru today.Karnataka) took over as the party president. Significantly, after leaving the Congress, senior leader Ibrahim had also tendered his resignation from the post of Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Council. Ibrahim had also hinted at joining JD(S) and said that it is a truly secular party. He had also said that in the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections, the Congress party will be at number three after JD(S) and BJP.
