1 crore forms out of 7.96 crore back
Meanwhile, the SIR campaign of the voter list in Bihar has gained momentum. More than 94 per cent SIR form has been distributed among the voters and more than 13 per cent forms have been collected back from them. The Election Commission said yesterday that 1.04 crore or 13.19 percent calculation forms have been submitted by voters.
Assembly elections are going to be held in Bihar in the next few months and there are 7.96 crore registered voters and about 94 percent forms have been distributed. According to the Commission, till 6 pm on Saturday evening, 1,04,16,545 calculation forms have been received, which is 13.19 percent of the total registered 7,89,69,844 (about 7.9 crore) voters of Bihar till 24 June 2025.
Not only this, 1.55 lakh booth level agents (BLA) appointed by different political parties are also providing active support in the SIR process. Here every BLA can submit 50 certified forms daily.
