Former Karnataka MLA Pramod Madhavaraj has submitted his resignation to State Congress Committee President DK Shivakumar.
Pramod Madhavraj, former MLA and minister of Karnataka (Pramod Madhuraj) has left the Congress. He also met Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President DK Shivakumar (DK Shivkumar) has submitted his resignation. There was speculation about Madhavraj’s resignation for several days. In this way, he resigned from the Congress party on Saturday, putting an end to the speculation. He has also tweeted his resignation. It is noteworthy that party leaders tried to persuade Madhavraj to continue in the party and assured him of a higher post. Later he was given the post of Vice President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.
Madhavraj kept himself away from party activities for some years. There were also rumors that he might join the BJP.
