Amrullah Saleh: The Taliban has rejected the reports, in which it has been claimed that Rs 48 crore and gold bricks have been found from the house of former Vice President of Afghanistan Amrullah Saleh.
Amrullah Saleh, former Vice President of Afghanistan
Taliban on Amrullah Saleh Home Raid: The Taliban has dismissed reports that it has been quoted as saying that it has found 48 million rupees and 18 gold bricks from the house of former Afghanistan Vice President Amrullah Saleh. Earlier, several Pakistani and Afghan journalists had posted a video on their social media claiming that a huge amount was received from Saleh’s house (Amrullah Saleh Home). In this video, a suitcase full of dollar notes and gold items are seen kept around. Two people are seen sitting near this stuff, whose faces are not visible properly.
Reports say that Taliban terrorists had entered Amrullah Saleh’s house, where they found these items. In an interview with Afghanistan’s daily newspaper Al-Itteja, the deputy head of the Taliban’s Cultural Commission, Ahmadullah Wasik, has said that these claims are false (Taliban on Ex Afghan Vice President). The same video was also shared by Afghan journalist Tajuddin Saurosh. According to Bio, Saurosh is a senior correspondent at Iran International Television.
Amrullah Saleh’s brother murdered
Earlier it was reported that the Taliban had killed Rohullah Saleh, brother of Amrullah Saleh. He was the commander of a unit of the National Resistance Force (NRF) fighting the Taliban in Panjshir. Panjshir (Fight in Panjshir) is the same province, where the Taliban has not been able to capture so far. Amrullah Saleh also came here after the Taliban took over the country. Here NRF fighters under the leadership of Ahmed Masood are fighting a war with the Taliban.
Where are Saleh and Masood now?
Many times there were also reports that Amrullah Saleh and Ahmed Masood have left the country. Although where exactly both of them are at this time, it has not been clearly confirmed. Talking about the Taliban, after the capture of Kabul on the 15th of last month, they had gained control over the whole country (Taliban Control in Kabul). On this day the Afghan government elected by the people fell and the then President Ashraf Ghani fled the country. After this, on 7 September, the Taliban announced the formation of their internal government. Which has been created in collaboration with the terrorist organization Haqqani Network.
