In West Bengal, the three-phase polling has ended and most political parties have found their status in Bengal, so now political parties are changing both their color and electoral formula in the remaining phases. . The first of these names is Pirzada Siddiqui of FurfuraSharif. In fact, the Indian Secular Front (ISF) founder Abbas Siddiqui, who is contesting the elections in Bengal along with the Left and the Congress, has made a statement that is not coming down the throat of both the Congress and the Left. Abbas Siddiqui has talked about implementing the CAA in Bengal, although he said that the Citizenship Amendment Act must be applicable but without any condition i.e. both Hindus and Muslims should be brought under this law.
While the Congress party is contesting the assembly elections of five states in protest against this entire law. In such a situation, this statement of Abbas Siddiqui can prove fatal for the Left and the Congress. In fact, Abbas Siddiqui is angry with the Congress party, the reason behind this is that the Congress has not given him a single seat from his side. He is very angry about whom. Despite this, however, Abbas is campaigning for the Congress candidates by going among the people of Siddiqui. There is little hope that the alliance of Left, Congress and Pirzada Siddiqui will be able to last for long. Out of 294 assembly seats in Bengal, about 70 to 100 seats have a good influence of Muslims, hence all political parties are engaged to woo this community.
Congress leaders have been against Abbas Siddiqui since the beginning.
The Congress has been opposing fundamentalism and communalism since the beginning, so when it joined hands with Pirzada Siddiqui’s Indian Secular Front, its own leaders started questioning it. Senior Congress leader Anand Sharma had expressed great displeasure about this alliance. He had tweeted on this alliance saying that ‘Congress can never be selective in the fight against communalism, we have to fight against all forms of communalism’. The presence and support of the State Congress President in West Bengal is extremely shameful on this subject. They should clarify their stand.
First CAA had strong opposition
The kind of statement Abbas Siddiqui has now made about the CAA, his statement before the election was exactly the opposite. He even threatened the Modi government for not repealing the Citizenship Amendment Act. He had said, “If the Citizenship Amendment Act is not withdrawn within 1 month, it will create a movement like Hong Kong in Bengal.” In which 20, 25 lakh people will surround the whole of Bengal and airports. Pirzada has been making such statements.
Earlier, he made a similar absurd statement about the Corona virus. He had said that ‘I wish that 500 million Indians die from this virus’. This statement of Abbas Siddiqui was opposed to the whole of India. The main reason for the displeasure of some Congress leaders is also such statements of Abbas Siddiqui which he keeps giving every day. However, after taking entry in politics, Abbas Siddiqui has started talking about Hindu-Muslim unity, so he has also given tickets to Hindus from his party.
