Vita Milk Plant under Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation (HDDCF) will now be shifted from Ballabhgarh (Faridabad). This issue has taken a political colour. He says that the government will shift this plant to Bidawas village of Bawal (Rewari). The question is whether this plant in Faridabad is being shifted to Vaval because Haryana’s Cooperative Minister Banwari Lal is an MLA from Bawal?
Vita Dairy Milk Plant was built on July 31, 1979 in Ballabhgarh in about 16 acres with the aim of providing employment to the farmers of the area. Under the plant, committees are working in 400 villages. Seven to eight thousand farmers are taking profit by selling milk. It supplies more than one lakh liters of milk daily. Apart from milk, curd, buttermilk, ghee and other products are made in this.
Karan Singh Dalal, who is opposing the issue of shifting the plant, said that the cooperative minister of the state, Banwari Lal is going it in his area, because the political leadership of Faridabad is weak. The people involved in the government will make their money in selling its old machinery and buying new ones. But they have harassed the farmers here and a total of 700 employees working in the plant. The people of the area will not allow this plant to be shifted from here under any circumstances. Let us inform that MLA Moolchand Sharma from Ballabhgarh, where this plant is presently, is a cabinet minister in Haryana.
What will happen at the site of the plant?
It has been told that a proposal has been made to build a hospital, school and stadium on its 16 acres of land. The government has also said that a chilling station will be functional in place of this plant, where milk producers will be able to store their milk. However, Dalal says that some corrupt officials and the government are making a big mess in the name of the new plant. By telling the machinery of the plant that it is old, preparations are being made to sell it at throwaway prices.

Where the Vita Milk Plant should be run and where not, it will be decided by the members of the Board of Directors of the plant, but the government has already made arrangements for not only the land in Bawal, but also the new plant without taking the opinion of the Board of Directors in this matter. But preparations have also been made for crores of loans, which is an additional financial burden on the milk producers.

Dalal said that Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma is talking about shifting the plant to IMT, while the government has no policy to allot land in IMT. The former minister said that the present government is working without rules, ignoring the rules. He reiterated that if the Haryana Government does not make changes on record in the Vita Milk Plant transfer case as per the statement of the Transport Minister, then they are sure to go on agitation regarding this matter.

Dalal said that he will soon give a memorandum to the governor against the proposal to shift the Vita plant. It is a matter of surprise that the Haryana government is talking about taking a loan for the new Vita Milk Plant, while the government extends them by providing financial assistance to other cooperative institutions including sugar mills. So that the farmers and other sections associated with it can get financial benefits. According to him, the government should also give financial assistance instead of taking loan for the new plant.
