After the victory in the West Bengal Assembly Election, Namta Banerjee’s party TMC has started planning for its expansion in other states. Under this plan, the party has made CM Mamata Banerjee’s nephew MP Abhishek Banerjee (Abhishek Banerjee) as the national general secretary of the party. After being made the national general secretary, Abhishek Banerjee disclosed the party’s strategy and plans for the first time while addressing the reporters at the party headquarters in Tapasiya.
Abhishek Banerjee made it clear that the party would be taken into national politics. After the victory in the assembly elections, about one lakh mails have been received. There are good wishes and suggestions too. Those people still haven’t been able to see all the mail. It has been only 48 hours since he took over the responsibility. He will soon reveal the expansion plans. He clarified that he will face new challenges with the blessings of elders. At the same time, he is committed to take all possible steps to take Trinamool Congress to the national level in future.
Will reveal party plans within a month
He said, ‘Two days ago I got the responsibility. Will bring a complete plan within a month. Will we have expansion plans? be any state. Be the smallest state. We will not go there just to contest elections. One MLA or two MLAs will not go there to win. Wherever he goes, he will go to win the state. Wherever we will open a new unit of the party. Will open with full plan and dream of victory.
Party supremo Mamta Banerjee is supreme in the party
When asked whether he is the ‘second man’ of Trinamool Congress or not. The Trinamool MP said, “Mamata Banerjee is supreme in the Trinamool Congress and if there is another man, he is a team worker.” He also hit out at Nandigram MLA Shubhendu Adhikari without naming him, saying, “Participate in a constructive discussion. The day before yesterday I saw he said that 40 lakh Bengalis are out because of violence. Its consequences can be dire. He is talking so ludicrously to flatter Delhi.” At the same time, on the allegation of the opposition trying to make Abhishek Banerjee the next Chief Minister of Bengal, Abhishek clearly said, “I will be away from the ministry for the next 20 years.”
