Bengal’s CM and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee have exercised their franchise on the seventh day of West Bengal Assembly Election voting. Mamta Banerjee arrived at the polling booth set up at Mitra Institution Center in Bhawanipur assembly constituency at 4:15 pm. Party candidate Shobhan Dev Chattopadhyay was already present there. Although former CM of the state Buddhadeb Bhattacharya could not vote today. His wife Meera Bhattacharya and her daughter voted, but due to being unwell, they could not vote.

Apart from this, Subrata Mukherjee, Trinamool Congress candidate from Baliganj, offered prayers at the temple, after which he went out to visit the polling stations.

CPI-M candidate Meenakshi Mukherjee, who is contesting against Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram, has used her franchise in Kulti. Several celebrities, including Minister Firhad Hakim, Minister Arup Vishwas, MP and actor Dev, took part in the voting today. Firhad Hakim came to vote with his family members.
