Weather Update: The latest IMD bulletin has predicted rainy days ahead for several regions across the country. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a low-pressure area forming in Madhya Pradesh and its neighbouring regions, which will result in heavy rainfall. Additionally, Uttarakhand, North UP, Rajasthan Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim are expected to experience very heavy rains over the next four to five days. Several regions have been put on alert for heavy rains.

As the monsoon rainfall activity has intensified in the North East region over the past few days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates that the intense precipitation will persist for the next five days, from today to next Wednesday, August 6-9. According to the forecast, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur will experience light to moderate, fairly widespread to widespread rains, with isolated heavy to very heavy falls during this period.

Delhi

As per the latest weather update, the National Capital will have a pleasant weather today. The mornings will witness scattered thunderstorms and isolated rainfall will continue till the afternoon, with cloudy sky taking on later. For today, the maximum temperature will be 34 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees.

Mumbai

The city and its suburbs are predicted to remain mostly cloudy with the start of day. However, weather will start clearing out after the noon. Similar weather conditions are likely in the region for 3-4 days more. For today, the maximum temperature will be 30 degrees while the minimum will be 27 degrees with humidity at 84%.

Chennai

IMD predicts a sunny and clear day for Chennai. Isolated regions could experience few clouds during the day. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 36 degrees and the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 67%.

Kolkata

Scattered thunderstorms with moderate rainfall are predicted for Kolkata today. The upcoming week is likely to remain the same. The maximum temperature, for today, will be 32 degrees and the minimum will be 28 degrees with humidity at 87%.
