The police have arrested the Chief Administrative Officer and the Chief Executive Officer after the fire incident at Vijay Vallabh Kovid Care Hospital in Virar.

A fire broke out in the Vijay Vallabh Kovid Hospital on Friday in Vasai, Maharashtra. 13 corona patients died in this fire. At the same time, the police has taken action in this matter. The police have arrested the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Vijay Vallabh Kovid Care Hospital in Virar. The court has sent them on one day police remand.
According to the information, the fire was triggered after an explosion in the air conditioning system. When there was a fire in the ICU, at that time 17 people were admitted, out of which only 4 could be evacuated. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Prime Minister announced compensation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had expressed condolences on the accident in Corona Hospital. He had announced financial assistance of two lakh rupees from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to the families of the dead and Rs 50,000 to the seriously injured.
The accident occurred due to oxygen leakage
Explain that the cases of corona in Maharashtra are increasing rapidly. The highest number of corona cases are being seen in the entire country in Maharashtra. In the meantime, a lot of negligence was seen in a hospital in Nashik recently. There was leakage during refilling of oxygen here, due to which patients did not get oxygen, and 22 patients died.

Corona cases in Maharashtra
The highest number of cases of corona virus are being seen in Maharashtra. In the last 24 hours, there were 67,160 new cases, after which the total number of patients in the state increased to 4,228,836. 676 people died in the last 24 hours, after which the death toll in the state reached 63,928. Recovery has also increased amidst increasing cases. In the last 24 hours, 63,818 patients were recovered, after which the total number of recovered patients increased to 3,468,610. The total active cases in the state are 696,298.
