The department says that on February 2, there may be rain and snowfall in Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag Bageshwar, while on February 3, there may be thunder, rain, hail in Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding hail and lightning.
