Disclosing this matter, DIG Janmejay Khanduri told in the press conference that the accused Aditya Tomar is a resident of Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh. While the deceased Vanshika was a resident of Kankhal in Haridwar. Siddharth Law College D Pharma first year studies were going on and the accused and Vanshika were known to each other. A month ago, Vanshika had posted a photo of herself on social media and it is alleged that Aditya made such a comment on her that Vanshika had objected. After which there was a dispute between the two. In this case, the senior students complained about the remarks to the school management and the school management informed about this to the relatives of the deceased and after that the college was closed.

Then Vanshika had brought some items from the cafe near the school and she threatened the accused Aditya to call her colleagues. After this, when Vanshika’s friends did not reach there, she shot and killed Vanshika.
