Uttarakhand: CM Pushkar Dhami gave his one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, took initiative to deal with the disaster

In Uttarakhand, more than 65 people have lost their lives in the disaster caused by rain in the past. At the same time, the revenue of the state has also suffered a lot due to the rains. The state has suffered huge losses in this calamity. Due to this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced to give one month’s salary to CM Care Fund.

The Chief Minister has directed the Additional Chief Secretary, Secretariat Administration Department to deposit his October salary in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund due to natural calamity in the state. Since the disaster in the state, the CM himself is visiting the affected areas and taking stock of the situation. Along with this, the concerned officials have been asked to provide all possible help to the affected. At the same time, he has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the kin of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh 9 thousand for the repair of houses.

Repair the demolished infrastructure by November 7: CM Dhami

Meanwhile, CM reached Chamoli on Friday. During the review of disaster relief works with the officials in the Collectorate Auditorium of Chamoli district, the CM directed to restore the blocked roads, damaged lines of electricity and drinking water at the earliest. The CM said that there will be no shortage of resources in the disaster relief work. The CM also gave instructions to repair the basic facilities that were destroyed by the disaster by November 7 and to make all the roads pothole-free. CM Dhami said here that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this.

The CM reached Dungri village in Chamoli district today and met the families of those missing in the disaster and consoled them. CM said that my condolences are with the families of the missing. All possible help will be given by the state government to search for such people and to the families of the victims.
