A major accident occurred in a private company’s power plant in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. 13 laborers have been injured in the accident. CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered an inquiry into the matter.

In the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, 13 workers were injured in an accident at a power plant of a private company on Sunday morning. Taking cognizance of the incident in CM Yogi Adityanath, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department has ordered an inquiry into it. The case is related to Lanco Company’s power plant in Anpara area of Sonbhadra. According to the information, the workers were working on the boiler at around 2:45 am. Then the accident occurred due to the fall of the uncharted fare (ladder). Manager SK Dwivedi informed the police about the accident. 13 laborers have been injured in the accident.
Management said that eight laborers have been discharged after first aid in the hospital located in Project Council. While five other laborers have been admitted to Nehru Hospital in Jayant area in critical condition. Meanwhile, Additional Chief Secretary of the Information Department, Navneet Sehgal said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, taking cognizance of this accident, has ordered the Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department to investigate it.

He told that the Chief Minister has said that after taking the investigation and deciding the responsibility of this incident, immediate effective action should be taken. Sehgal said that the Chief Minister has instructed the local administration to treat the injured.
