Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly administration alert after Kanpur violence, Maulana Tauqir Raza announced a big demonstration on June 10; Section 144 enforced

In fact, Maulana Tauqir Raza Khan, President of Bareilly Ittehad-e-Millat Council, had announced for June 10 in the grounds of Islamia College, Bareilly, for a large number of people to protect power. He had said that the protest would be held to take action on the objectionable remarks made by Nupur Sharma of BJP. The Bareilly police administration was alerted after hearing the news of Maulana’s protest demonstration. After which the police administration has imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 in the district today. Also, not more than 5 people will be able to gather at one place in the district. Apart from this, the District Officer has ordered that Section 144 will remain in force in Bareilly district till July 3.

BJP spokesperson made indecent remarks on Prophet Mohammad

At the same time, the matter of making indecent remarks on Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Sahib by BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma in live TV debate is gaining momentum. Where on Thursday, IMC chief Maulana Tauqir Raza Khan raised this issue in a press conference and said that Muslims can tolerate everything. But the pride of Nabi-e-Karim cannot be tolerated. Maulana had demanded from the government and BJP that Nupur Sharma should be removed from his post and take legal action. DM said – without permission there will be no public meeting in the district

In this case, DM of Bareilly district Shivakant Dwivedi has ordered that as long as Section 144 remains in force in the district, any public meeting can be held without permission. At the same time, he has said that due to the upcoming Eid-ul-Bakrid and Union Public Service Commission and other examinations, such activities are likely to be carried out by anti-social elements. So that public peace can be disturbed in the district.
