Luv Shukla, who is the national president of the Sanatan Hindu Mahasabha, said that he was watching live recording of CCTV footage of his house at around 11.15 am on Saturday morning. Then he saw Pappu alias Mohammad Sharif spitting three times in a milk box. Seeing this scene, he was shocked.

'Hindus were considering taking milk'

Luv Shukla angrily said that we were taking milk as a Hindu, but this person turned out to be Mohammad Sharif. He hurt our religious sentiments and corrupted our religion. Demand for action under NSA

He has demanded action against the accused under the National Security Act (NSA). After the case came to light, the workers of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha reached Gomtinagar police station and demanded strict action against the accused. The national spokesperson of the Mahasabha, Shishir Chaturvedi, called it a planned conspiracy of 'spit jihad'. He said that it is not only a matter of a family. Mohammad Sharif used to supply milk to dozens of houses in the area.

CCTV footage revealed

In the holy time of the Kavad Yatra, such an act is a deep shock to religious sentiments. The organization gave a complaint to the police station on this matter and demanded strict action. The Lucknow police took the matter seriously and started action immediately. DCP West Zone Shashank Singh said that a complaint has been lodged at Gomtinagar police station. Mohammad Sharif's actions are clearly visible in CCTV footage, in which he is seen spitting in a milk box.

Accused arrested

Gomtinagar police station in -charge Brijesh Chandra Tiwari confirmed that the accused had been arrested late at night. The police took the footage as evidence and started a thorough investigation into the case. Mohammad Sharif used to supply milk in many houses. People say that if there were no CCTV footage, then this disgusting act would not be known. A local resident said that our children used to drink this milk. Thinking that we are hate that we were using this contaminated milk since when we have been using it.

This case of spit jihad has been in discussion many times before in Uttar Pradesh. Recently, reports of such incidents were revealed in cities like Meerut and Bageshwar.
