Taking a big decision in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) paper leak case, the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has taken strict action against the secretary of UPTET. On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority Sanjay Upadhyay has been suspended. He has been found prima facie guilty of not maintaining confidentiality in important work and maintaining integrity in the examination. Along with this, disciplinary action will also be taken against him and Upadhyay has been attached to the Basic Office of the Director of Education.

At the same time, even before reaching the examination centers, the officers and employees of the Examination Regulatory Authority office are being scrutinized as to how the question paper reached the copying mafia. In this episode, the government has suspended Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority Sanjay Upadhyay.

The image of the state government got tarnished

In the order issued by Anamika Singh, Secretary, Basic Education Department of the state, it has been said that UPTET was to be conducted in a proper manner, copy-free and peaceful and due to paper leaks before the examination, the sanctity of the examination has been affected and It is clear that confidentiality was not kept in it. The state government has said in its order that with the cancellation of the entire examination, the image of the government has also been tarnished. So Secretary Sanjay Upadhyay has been suspended, a disciplinary inquiry will be initiated against him. Suspended Secretary Sanjay will be attached to the Education Director Basic Office.

The new secretary has not yet been appointed

A new secretary has not yet been appointed in his place. Also, after the report of the STF probing the case, it is believed that major action will be taken against the other accused. After taking action on the Secretary of the Examination Regulatory Authority of the State Government, now the examination agency will take strict action against the person who printed the question paper and preparations are being made to take other legal action apart from blacklisting the agency.

Yogi government has already suspended the officers

At the same time, before suspending Sanjay Upadhyay, the state government has previously suspended many other officers in the examination rigging and paper leak case. According to the information, this is the second major action of the government on Sanjay Upadhyay. Last year itself, the then Secretary Sutta Singh and Controller of Examinations Jivendra Singh Airi were suspended along with others for changing the copy and not evaluating properly in 68,500 teacher recruitment. However, both have been reinstated.
