A large number of police forces are present on the spot. Police has also arrested more than a dozen students so far.

Angry students say that most of the activities are going on as before, then why coaching institutes and educational institutions are being closed. The main intersection of Sasaram turned into a war zone for several hours due to the uproar of the students. Apart from policemen, many journalists have also been hurt in the stone pelting of students.

DM Dharmendra Kumar and SP Ashish Bharti have said that the miscreants are being identified on the basis of video footage of the incident. He said that it would also be investigated which coaching centers had called the students while breaking the Corona Guidelines. He said that action would be taken against the culprits.
