There have been reports of sporadic violence at various polling stations in the third phase of the West Bengal Assembly Election. After BJP candidate Deepak Halladar in Diamond Harbor, now in Arambagh, TMC candidate Sujata Mondol is accused of running with sticks. On the other hand, Nirmal Manjhi, another TMC candidate, had to walk out of the area wearing a helmet due to protests.
It is alleged that TMC candidate Sujata Mandal has been attacked in Arambagh. TMC alleges that they have been attacked with bricks. He said that some people came in masks, who attacked him. Sujata said that BJP goons threatened and tortured women voters last night.

Due to the protests, TMC leader Nirmal Manjhi had to walk out of the area wearing a helmet.

Sujata Mandal Khan said that the situation is fine in many places. But the situation is not right where we are strong. At booth number 45, people voted for TMC but the vote is going to BJP. Our workers were beaten in Arandi-ii. Central forces are also not neutral. They are asking people to vote for the BJP.

TMC complains to Election Commission
