The Special Police Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh State Police has busted an organized gang. The target of this gang were those educated unemployed youths of the country, who were in need of government jobs. This gang of thugs had been opening ‘fake employment offices’ to get government jobs.
The mastermind of this gang has been a student of thug engineering. This gang used to extort money from the unemployed in the name of many fake websites, non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It is learned that the gang’s thugs have so far siphoned off more than 6 crores from more than 500 educated unemployed.
mastermind native of gorakhpur
On Thursday, all these sensational facts were also confirmed by IG Amitabh Yash, Chief of State Police STF. According to him, the names of the arrested thugs are Arun Kumar Dubey, Anirudh Pandey, Khalid Munavwar Baig, Anurag Mishra. Arun Kumar Dubey is originally from Gorakhpur district. While the remaining three arrested thugs are residents of different areas of Lucknow. The mastermind of the gang is Arun Kumar Dubey. He studied engineering from a college located in Gorakhpur in the year 2005, after that he kept working in three private companies. In the year 2015, he was accused of stealing 15 laptops of the company.
Fake employment office opened as soon as he came from jail
In that case, the Aliganj (Lucknow) police station arrested him and sent him to jail. He was in jail for two years. As soon as he came out of jail, this mastermind intended to open a big shop of fraud. So he created many fake companies under different names. These companies, by name, were seen and heard, NGOs, seemed helpful in getting employment. Whereas under the guise of these companies, this thug company had opened a ‘fake employment office’ to cheat the educated unemployed. According to the STF chief, Kumar Pankaj, Dev Yadav, Shashank Tiwari, Devesh Mishra, Vinay Sharma, Vineet Kumar Mishra have also been involved in this gang.
All these government job seekers used to bring educated unemployed people into the trap and bring them to this fake employment office, after that the responsibility of extorting huge amount from the unemployed was the responsibility of these thug companies. In order to entice more and more unemployed people, this thug company used to organize employment fairs, seminars in every nook and corner of the country. So that the unemployed, eager for a government job by paying a lot of money, can reach the door of this thug company themselves to get themselves financially hit. Many such complainants have also been found by the STF teams, taking money from these fake unemployed offices and handed over appointment letters to them.
Thugs sent legal notices to the victims only
When the joining of all of them was not done even after a long time, the victims knocked on the door of the police. And one more thing, the mastermind of this thug company was also descended on the theft from above. When some unemployed people caught in the trap of these thugs asked for their money back due to lack of appointment, the company even sent legal notices to many of them. With the caveat that they (the victims) have done the work against the rules of the company.
Due to this, some victims already trapped in the trap got scared, but some went to the police. These four thugs, recently arrested in Lucknow, have confessed that their remaining thugs have been arrested in October last year and sent to jails. Among them are Devesh Mishra, Vineet Kumar Mishra. Both of them had handed over the fake appointment letter of Uttar Pradesh State Secretariat to an unemployed person trapped in the trap. At present, a case was registered against all the four thugs who have been arrested in Lucknow’s Indiranagar police station only last year.
