UP CM Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) has announced that Kovid patients present in the state who are living in home isolation will be given home delivery for oxygen. These patients will get on-demand oxygen as well as this facility will also prove to be beneficial for non-covid patients struggling with critical illness. On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, 26780 new Kovid Cases (UP Corona Cases) have come out while 353 people have died due to this. The Yogi government has also issued an order to give 25 percent incentive for doctors to doctors, nurses, para medical and scavengers working on the front line against Kovid.
Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department Amit Mohan Prasad told that the number of people who died due to this virus has increased to 14504 in UP. During the last 24 hours, Kovid-19 infection has been confirmed in 26780 new patients in the state. At the same time, 28902 patients have recovered and returned to their homes. Currently, 259844 Kovid-19 infected patients are being treated in the state. In a meeting with team-9 officials, CM Yogi on Thursday approved the plan related to providing oxygen at home to patients with home isolation.

Explain that the patients living in home isolation will be provided oxygen after showing the doctor’s form and Aadhaar card. The doctor’s prescription should include that the patient needs oxygen support. Apart from this, people suffering from serious illness will also be given this facility on the basis of doctor’s prescription.
In the meeting, CM Yogi issued instructions to work seriously on the availability of beds, manpower, medical equipment, oxygen and medicines in view of the upcoming challenges and for this also posted the secretary level officers. CM said that according to the needs of the districts, more oxygen concentrators should be purchased. Government of India has given 400 metric ton tankers to the state. Action should be taken for global tendering in relation to cryogenic tankers and to provide direct supply to the nearest CHC of oxygen being produced by sugar mills.
Announcement of incentive to doctor-nurse and paramedical
The UP government has announced to give incentives and incentives to the doctors, personnel, medical and nursing students engaged in the treatment of Kovid-19 patients. Doctor nurses, para medical staff and cleaning personnel will be given 25 percent additional incentive on their basic salary. Honorarium will be given to MBBS interns, MSc nursing, BSc nursing, MBBS final year and GNM students for doing duty in Kovid ward.
Principal Secretary Medical Education Department Alok Kumar said that retired doctors, nurses, para medical staff will also be placed on honorarium for the treatment of Kovid patients. This decision has been approved by the cabinet. Physicians, nurses, para-medical staff and sanitary workers employed in Kovid hospitals, whether employed regularly or on outsourcing basis, will all be given 25 percent additional incentive on basic salary or honorarium currently being paid .
MBBS interns will get 500 rupees per day
MBBS interns, MSc nursing students, B.Sc nursing students, MBBS final year and GNM students will also be paid to work every day as per requirement in Kovid Hospitals. MBBS interns will be given Rs 500 per day, MSAC nursing students Rs 400 per day, BSC nursing students Rs 300 per day, MBBS final year and GNM students Rs 300 per day. This incentive amount will be applicable from May 1 to July 31. 10% additional incentive to the laborers and their respective areas to be deployed for testing of Kovid-19 samples in state hospitals, proprietary micro biologists, lab technicians, data entry operators, lab attendants on the amount of their basic salary or honorarium.
