Vidhan Sabha (UP Elections 2022) elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh in a few months and today CM Yogi Adityanath will give the gift of college to his Karmabhoomi Gorakhpur. CM Yogi reached Gorakhpur on Tuesday evening on a five-day tour. He will inaugurate Mahant Avadyanath Government College located at Jungle Kauria today. According to the information, CM Yogi will unveil a life-size bronze statue of Mahant Avadyanath installed in the college premises during this period.
Along with the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma and Minister of State for Higher Education Neelima Katiyar will also be present in the inaugural program to be held from 11 am. In fact, after becoming the CM of the state, Yogi Adityanath had laid the foundation stone of the college on 21 May 2018 and the cost of construction of this college has come to Rs 31 crore.
According to the information, after its launch today, the first year graduation classes will start in the college from this session. This college is affiliated to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and it has also got approval from the education department to conduct classes in arts, science and commerce faculties. According to the information, more than 400 students have also been admitted in the three faculties in the current session and the admission process is still going on in the college.
Teachers and staff have been appointed
According to the information, the principal, teachers and staff have also been deployed in the college. So that the study work can go on smoothly. At the same time, after the inauguration program of the college, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the beautification and strengthening work of Kalibari located in Maya Bazar at 4 pm on Wednesday. 72 lakh rupees have been spent on this. It is being told that the Chief Minister will remain in Gorakhpur till Dussehra and will return to Lucknow on October 16.
PM Modi inaugurated 13 oxygen plants
Earlier on October 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had virtual inauguration of 13 oxygen plants set up in Gorakhpur district to deal with the possible third wave of Corona. All these oxygen plants have been made operational. Let us inform that 17 oxygen plants have been installed in the district, out of which 13 are ready. CMO Dr. Sudhakar Pandey told that all the doctors, medical staff including staff nurses have been trained for its operation. ACMO Dr. NK Prasad told that the Oxygen Plant of Government Homeopathy College and CHC Chargawan is likely to be inaugurated by the CM.
